Getting Started at Strong Side CrossFit Louisville
We know CrossFit has an intimidating reputation, so we’ve created a smooth starting process for new members:
1. Schedule an Orientation
We like to know as much about your health and fitness history as possible so we can tailor our program to your needs. To make that job easier we go through a full movement screening. Using the information from the assessment we help you identify any muscle imbalances that may exist and how to alleviate them to help you perform at your best level possible. 2. Take a Two Free Weeks of Intro Classes
A free orientation and two weeks of classes is the first step in deciding whether Strong Side CrossFit Louisville is right for you. You don’t need to “get in shape” to try out CrossFit we make tailor the program to be friendly and accessible for any fitness level.
3. Sign Up
To keep going after your two free weeks, join Strong Side CrossFit Louisville!
Our pricing is fair, simple, and straightforward: we charge $119.99 per month with no contracts, no initiation fees, and no cancellation fees for unlimited classes.

4. Complete Beginnings to CrossFit
Your two free weeks at Strong Side CrossFit Louisville is actually Class 1-4 of our 6 class Beginning CrossFit on-ramp series, which teaches the basics of CrossFit in a fun, friendly and safe environment. Once you’ve signed up as a member, you can complete the other 2 Elements classes (Class 4 and Class 6).
We offer each class throughout the week. You’re welcome to repeat any of those classes as often as you’d like. We recommend completing them in order, though it’s okay to jump around a bit if you need. There’s no special charge for the classes – it’s included in your monthly membership the day you sign up.
5. Hit the WOD
Once you’ve taken all six classes, talk to our front desk, so they can set you up with permission to take regular WOD (or Workout of the Day) classes. We have WODs in a bunch of levels, and we promise our Beginner WODs are a no more terrifying than Beginning CrossFit classes!
If you are transplanting from another CrossFit affiliate, and have completed a comparable level of CrossFit-specific training, you may be able to skip CrossFit with a simple test out. Please email us to let us know about your background, or come in to speak with our front desk.
